I know you all like to comment on innovative riding boots... these are from Veredus and will be launched soon. Yay or nay?

I think they will only be available as made to measure, and a snip at nearly £600!

I think they look like they'd be nice to ride in and close fitting. I'd wear them but I wouldn't pay much for them because they're not smart enough for competing and not casual enough for everyday.

They're having a laugh.

I quite like them but I think we're in a bit of a vicious cirle...
Most people wouldn't compete in them because they look 'different'.
So they won't buy them.
So no-one competes in them
So they'll always look 'different'

How did we manage to get the vented hats accepted - did they hit the same 'it looks different' issues?
I like the traditional look too but riding wear will always be stuck in the dark ages if no-one takes a punt and tries something 'different'.
Hope I'm not taling gibberish!

I like the traditional dark ages.

Smart and practical.

As I said, I am a boring old fart, advances and improved materials/quality can still look traditional, but these boots look as if they belong on a biker not a rider, clumpy and ugly.

See, I’m usually very traditional but I really like them! But then, I’m a huge geek and love Star Trek & X-Men, so looking like an extra rfom one can only be a bonus in my eyes!

They look comfortable and quirky.

However, if I had £600 to spare I would get made to measure traditional boots, tbh.
