Kylie at 19 is not quite as flexible as she used to be....

OMG the one on the right (is that Kylie?) is the spitting image of my second whippet, Sian

Sian was only 13 when she was PTS, as she had a horrible inoperable tumour in her nose, but 19 is a fabulous age

Kylie was part whippet, part Oz cattle dog and part collie. She had a massive mammary tumour that was removed twice, but couldn't go through a third op when it returned at 19 yrs. The vet said she was the oldest dog she'd ever met, but she was outlived by her mum, who died at 21! She was OH's dog, and it took him nearly three years to face getting another dog.

I hope Leah is as long-lived as Kylie! What an incredible age - the oldest dog in the world at the moment is only 23. I love how comfy lurchers can make themselves in the most awkward positions.

Leah likes to curl up as small as is physically possible and use her tail as a sleeping mask.

When we still had Kylie, my old Grey Judy and Lily they would fight over the Skip's (JRT) bed which was actually a feed bowl. Does my bum look big in this....
