Those of you that have had injectable omeprazole for your horse and have experienced swelling..
Was the swelling at the exact site of the injection, or migrated to an area right near it? Any photos of said swelling? How long did it last?
I really do not need another thing wrong with my horse, but I've noticed a swelling
however it isn't exactly where she was injected. The injection was in her lower chest area, swelling is right under and between her front legs. The injection was on Monday night, so I don't know if it's been there from that and I've only just noticed it (yes, I feel awful). Or if it's unrelated / has just popped up. It's large but wobbly/soft.
Of course, I'll contact the vet, but thought I'd ask here too.

ETA: She's extremely sensitive and grumpy to touch around her girth and chest if she thinks you're fiddling with a rug (hence the scope - riddled in squamous ulcers), but didn't react to me touching the swelling. No heat either.
