Go for it they are the best around!!!! I've got one in my siggy he called Ewan and he's the best! I' ve back a few Kellas ponys and they are so easy and laid back! If you want to know more ask away!

Wow. £500 is pretty much a bargain! These days for a decent registered shetland that can be ridden/driven & a great kids pony, good conformation & paces, with no problems physical or behavioural, you would (or should) be looking to pay a lot more than that.
