WOW what happy dogs. They are very lucky there are people like you about that take them in, turn them around and re home them! Big praises what good work you do. Love the husky pup the my fav breed!

Clever doggies in the mud!!

Fantastic photos of all of them playing! I once went to a lecture by this American dog trainer who described her facilities at home. Apparently she had a 'dog playground', you could bring your dog and let it loose to play with all the others, owners would sit on the side and watch! Sounded like a brilliant idea! We have a puppy at the moment and we keep asking people if he can come say hello to their dogs to socialise him, but I am surprised at the number of people who seem very unhappy at the idea of the dogs playing (they don't seem to have aggressive dogs, it's more the owners who seem scared).

Absolutely...it's all about your own confidence and the signals to give to the dogs...if u are apprehensive and fearfull then the dogs will pick up on this...if u are calm and assertive then u are the leader and they will follow and their focus is you not each other.

This is photoes we took in the summer last year of all the rescues...we encourage free paly...and they love it

It's fantastic watching them.....we just stand amongst them and step in if we need to...but we rarely do.

I'm known as 'that funny dog lady' round here and I only have four! They're all having such a great time, lovely to see. And how did you manage to choose Flint over Merlin? Did notice you may end up with both and don't blame you one bit. If I had a rescue I'd use it as my own personal supplier of lurchers too

We took flint as he was the worst of the 2...Merlin went to my mams...and flint bonded with my OH from the get go and my Oh to flint
crazy.gif
....OH's deerhound is getting on a bit and well I have 3 million dogs so didn't see the harm in letting him keep flint
