!!More rescues!!

None of them are old dogs, are they? I stopped looking for an old dog for the pensioner who is at the yard down the road, because a mutual friend was going to sort something out (she's a vet). She was going to look out for a JR for him, but not had any joy yet. He had a spaniel last, and a lurcher before that.

I think the oldest we have is 2 greyhounds who are around 10, then prob little arthur the j.r.t, but he is youngish really between 4-5yrs

We are in Durham, we do sometimes arrange transport runs, but really depends on the dog in question, i.e if we need it closer.
It usually up to the fosterer or person who's care it in aswell, Im a little more easy going and will rehome further a field, my mam however needs to know the ins and outs of your last fart

I didn't realise he was a rescue, thought he was your own special boy.
I know where you are coming from re breeding but will admit we had a litter last year. I bent over backwards to ensure they got good homes (refused several people) and we are in touch with all of them, in fact we are having a first birthday party get together in June!
None of our babies will end up rescues cos we'd have them all back if we had too LOL!

Rogan...yep, we still have her, very hard to rehome the bigger breeds and she is very shy of men, but loves woman, was thinking of sending her down to PBS, as Ozzie loves the girls, and she needs another dog

Bud came in with alot of problems, no recall, aggression, he had basically been shut in a kitchen and his exercise stopped because he kept running away, he obs became very frustrated and frustration turned to aggression, the kitchen became his little safe place, living in a house with idiotic aresholes that had drinking parties with large groups of more idiotic arses, that used to torment him in the kitchen, thinking it was funny to wind up an agrivated dog

, they had also kenneled with with a small terrier that was in season, he was thin as a rake and covered in semen

where he had tried to mate the terrier(they said, they thought she was to small for him to catch)

I said, GREAT, that would have been f*cking stressful, no wonder he is thin as a rake

Anyhow, he is a good boy now, perfect recall, no aggression, although warey of strangers, and gets lots and lots of exercise now

Mine are Gavic lines too though not Zeus!
So glad you have him and he is happy now, a lot of people don't have a clue about how much exercise the breed need. How sad that he got aggressive, they are such an un-aggressive breed when treated right. We do flyball with ours and they love it.
