So the little terrierist is settling in well and getting more confident every day. Stairs are a big issue....he's petrified of them! I have put his breakfast nuts one on each step to help him go up and down and reward himself and that is helping. He will now go up great but is still not sure of going down them. He has to learn as my house is upside down with kitchen/living room upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. He has met the horses and is not at all keen on them so we are taking that very slow. He is more interested in the cows and is fascinated by the calves. Recall is going to take alot of work as he has the attention span of a goldfish but I have plenty of time to work on it. he loves the car and is a great traveller. he has also met children and other dogs under strict supervision and was excellent with both. He is besotted with OH which is quite funny as OH is not a doggy person at all but Rory just insists on cuddles and pats! We brought him with us going to gallop a mare yest and he thought it was the best fun ever. He has demoted OH to work rider and Rory is now chief trainer....this was encouraging up the gallop:

he gets major brownie points for waking me up early this morn...he woke me due to water flooding his crate....from the ceiling!!!!!!!!!! Emergency plumber and lots of mopping later I have had to light the fire to help the house dry out. After his hours spent helping me clean up he is now fast asleep infront of the fire! House will be fine thank god so myself and terrierist are not about to be rendered homeless!
