I currently ride my horse in an albion k2 GP, but feel like i'm need a dressage and a jumping saddle now. I will probably buy second hand and I don't want to spend a lot of money, but am more intersted in the jumping saddle than the dressage. What do you recommend?

I have a K2 juming saddle and love it, I also hack in it. (

I also have a K2 GP and K2 dressage), but I want to change my dressage saddle now.

I'm trying to swap to a jump and a dressage at the moment too and its a nightmare...! TBH I am probably going to end up just buying another GP for now as all the saddles I like are just out of budget and I need to save for a bit longer before going ahead with it. I now have no saddle for my horse and am borrowing for now until i decide what to do or find a saddle!

Good luck finding what you want....

I f you are short of budget get a jump first then a dressage. I love my Ideal Springbok Jumpmsaddle and my horse seems too aswell. Fab saddles for the horse as nice wide flocked panels, and nice and close contact for me

Personally I really like my wintec jumping saddle (flocked not Cair). I know many will be horrified, but its light, easy to keep, and has improved my jumping position no ends. It is however not very comfortable for hacking in - solved with a seat saver.

Just because its cheap, dont over look it.

I have a Stubben Siegfried CS Close Contact saddle and a Lovatt & Ricketts dressage saddle - I love them both

I bought my Stubben brand new for about €1300, and I bought my Lovatt & Ricketts secondhand on Ebay for a very good price

I have several saddles (comes with having 3 horses

) but i have jsut invested in a new saddle for my 5yo. I went with a FUSION CORAL, a new design from Fusion but is't lovely. Jumping saddle based on a CC but with big knee & thigh blocks (very handy on a 5yo that likes to buck!) but at the same time it uber nice to hack out in.
Didnt break the bank either

I loved my K2 Albion jumping saddle, sadly my horse no longer jumps! I'd definitely go for the jumping saddle first, it's what I did.

Are the fusion ones - those that adjust with an allen key type tool? I had a look on the website as need a saddle for a youngster who will change shape over time but dont really like the synthetic saddles? Also what sort of price range are they ?

thanks#
