Just following on from the post regarding putting tails up for hunting etc!
Does anyone have any tips for doing the fiddly tail plait on a young horse who fidgets and sometimes kicks out at flies and tickles.
Did plait his tail for hunting last season once, but was so nervous stood right behind him, jumped out of my skin everytime he moved a leg, he has one mighty back end and don't fancy being booted!!
Is there some amazing tip, where to stand etc?
