More trailer vision help please....

Poor hubby spent 3 hours yesterday afternoon fitting the reversing camera onto my trailer. It works lovely but he ran out of time/light/patience to do the internal one. He is also slightly confused where to put it. We are going to go for the rear, where most people says its the most efficient, however, there doesn't seem to be anything in the ceiling to attach it too

He has asked me to ask you if anyone has any pics of their camera in situ so he can get a better idea.

I don't have a picture but we fitted ours to a wooden plate and then attached the wooden plate to the trailer. Means we can detach the camera and not leave it in there all the time.

Position wise its at the front over the little window, directly in front but higher than the horses. Good position as can see everything.
 
oohhh its so confusing on where to put it!!! The wood sounds like a good idea, mind you hubby (bless his cotton socks) is not the worlds best at diy so I want it to be as easy as possible. We were told it takes around 10 mins to fit......3 hours later and he's still only half way there!!
 
I had mine in a 510 first. I can't find any pics as I have an equitrek now. In the Equitrek, I have it on the opposite side he travels on, and the camera is behind him. The camera is easy to move and I have travelled two and had a good view of both heads and bodies.
I can't remember where I had it in the 510, I think it was the back, also we may have drilled on a bit of wood to the frame and then drilled the holder on to that. Otherwise what I have done in the Equiterk is drilled holes and then used some screws with the the nut on the end, so push the screw through and screw on bolt on the otherside of the panel. This holds it much fimer then the screws they provide.
Everyone should have a trailer vision when travelling, you will be suprised how much carefully you will tow now, when you can see how they travel.
