That a livery yard with ''tarnished'' reputation (WHW case at the yard) is holding a Bring and Buy sale on Sunday and holding a raffle at £10 a ticket for a Welsh pony

Has anyone in this area seen posters--or is this just a rumour please--Thank you

I can only find that it is illegal to sell tickets to children under 16 if the prize is an animal but I am concerned that a raffle of this nature is allowed

Does anyone have more up to date Info?

I was pointed to info on FB as only sparse detail on MBRC website
The raffle did go ahead
The pony was won and immediately sold
Pony described as 4yo grey Sec B gelding

Awful, I remember when I was young, there was a local livery/rs/dealer who used to do this every year. She would go to beeston sales buy a load of welsh foals and then raffle one off usually the most scrawny one
The worst thing aout it was she made more money on the raffle foal than the ones she actually sold, which just spared her on the next year
