Hello, ill start with the question first, i was supposed to be doing my 90rf at sapey but they have now re routed it to moreton morrell, i have walked the course a few years ago but dont really remember it! can anyone tell me the sort of things you had last year in the xc? any trakeners? what was the time like tight/easy? im not the bravest xc but had a fab round at aston the other week and feeling slightly better about the whole i can ride a decent xc with out interfering to much with my ever so patient pony! thank you for your replies

So went to aston le walls intro champs the other week and all in all not a bad day! been having a slight problem with her not going off my leg and this continued here we have been working on it and it is slightly better, so dressage was what i thought was a good test so was thinking early 30's came out with 35.3 slightly dissapointed but not too bad! xc was amazing the best round we have both had! one combination at 12 i was slightly concerned about step down, step up and over a arrow hear type thing so really rode at this one after she went slightly wobbly on me, but clear with no time faults, now on to the sj which they did in reverse order, so warmed up jumped the warm up fab went down and she just switched off! i couldnt for the life of me get her to go off my leg i had to really kick anywy went in got going and jumped a rather rubbish round how on earth i only had 1 down which i have to say she only just touched i dont know! i rode like a moroon, hooked at every fence had the striding wrong to most, the fence i had down i also had the best approch to any way big kicking for me when i got out! on a happier note i found out i finshed 9th. lovely rosette and also won a champion hat!!

Sorry cant help re.morton but if you ride every fence like its the first fence (or as friends here say, ride it like your late for mass! :p) then you should have no problem :)
I don't like the saying ride like you've had a stop, too negative imo hence the first fence ;)
 
Thank you! think i will give it a go, i was very pleased with the prize, makes up for paying for so many entries to have at least one decent prize, and something i would recommend for people to do! thank you for the comment she is lovely and really easy sadly will be for sale either after moreton morrell or after badminton grassroots, as i think she would be more suited to a pc/rc/ low level eventing home or a child coming of ponies! but i love her dearly and its such a hard decision! so maybe she wont go! haha!
