here goes to another day then ..
lets see if destiny my mare tanks out as soon as the stable door is open! lets see how she behaves today!
we have had a very keen frost looks icy too .,
why is it that horses decide to tank around like maniacs when its like this ...
and they seem to drink alot more water rather than in summer.. does anyone else find that . ?
 
Yes we have another 2" of global warming here in cheshire again,and yes they do seem to drink more I guess it's because
of hay/haylage being dryer than fresh grass..
 
Minus 2 here last night, everywhere frozen solid no riding again today! I sometimes envy you people at livery yards with access to a surface or an indoor school, then I remember the convenience of having my horses at home and how lucky I am,(mud, sheep,escaping bullocks and grumpy father in law excluded)
 
Tibby, having a surface is great but it's frozen again this morning! Frozen water buckets in the stable and frozen sugar beet mean it was really cold last night!
 
brrrr just got back in from letting mine out .. boy its cold out there! -4.5 it said in my car ....
i hope it warms up later
