I am not horsey by nature and indeed am the third partner in an eight legged family. I hack around a bit, a boy's day every Saturday. I have questions at times about life with a gentle Irish Cob, (some suggest he is part Labrador retriever), and manoeuvring about in the world of horses. My wife and the wee fella are in the same livery stable for over a decade. We have some key support in our yard and a good bookshelf going at this point. We are nontraditional in that we walk and run with the wee fella ,as much as we ride him. He loves a wander through the miles and miles of trails nearby as much as we do, he doesn't need other horses along. He doesn't mind being in the school as long as its not repetitive. He has a mind of his own, and an ability to communicate his interests in ways that entertain us greatly.
