Hi Guys, just had to share this with someone.
My little pussy cat has been missing for about a week, I was not overly worried as she does this sometimes in the summer and then always comes home.
Anyway I was sat in the garden yesterday afternoon with my daughter (aged 6), and the dog was going mad barking, well he has always chased our cats wanting to play! So daughter runs over to see what he was barking at and shouts to me 'Mummy he's barking at Piggy' (short for Piglet in Winnie the Pooh), I said 'oh great has she come home'? She's asleep she said. I walked over to her and to my horror she was dead! eyes open but lying down as though she was asleep.
I just cannot believe it! She was only at the vets two weeks ago for her annual jabs and general check over, she is only 4.
Why has she gone?
Sorry guys just had to get it off my chest, I hope you don't mind?
Hubby came home from work and buried her and we are going to make a little plaque today with her name on it.
Thanks for listening.
Rest in peace little Piggy, I will miss you so much.

So sorry to hear about ur kitty cat. i have 2 cats and they are my babies, i really feel for u. must be bad luck for animals yesterday coz i found a pigeon outside my house that had been hit by a car at 9pm last night so had to keep it indoors and taking it to vets this morning. Take care xxx

X RIP X

Don't feel guilty, just like people they can die at any moment, anybody can appear perfectly health but there body work might not all be intact. I find it a comforting thought to think of good people being the luckly ones who go first...

Kate,

I am so sorry to hear about poor little Piglet. I hope that your daughter isn't too upset. Do you think that she may have been hit by a car? Unfortunately, one of my much loved cats was struck by a car and there wasn't a mark on her, she too looked as though she was sleeping. Thinking of you, Annie xx

Sorry about your cat - sounds like she had a peaceful end (and a loving home beforehand) though.

So sorry to hear about your cat. Our cat was killed on the road last year, when I found him he didn't have a mark on him. This is possibly what happened to your cat. I know just how you must be feeling but don't blame yourself. She obviously wasn't suffering from any obvious illness. Hope your daughter wasn't too upset. Hugs to you both.

So sorry to hear about Piglet, as said perhaps she was hit by a car and had an internal injury. Cats generally have there claws ripped up by tarmac when hit by a car

O you poor thing, I really feel for you and the rest of your family. I have two cats that are sisters and Im dreading the day one gets taken to heaven.

RIP Piglet XX

Sorry to hear about poor piglet. Must have been a shock for you. I had to bury my elderly cat last week, she came in late one night, walking oddly and bit floppy. I wrapped her up in box and blankets and she died within the hour. She was 13 so we had been expecting it but still a shock.

RIP Piglet, really sorry to hear about your loss.
I had a kitten when I was 18 months old and she died 4 years ago and I still miss her so much! We also had a cat that was hit by a car when she was about 9 but lived til she was 23, that too was hard even tho she was old!

My thoughts are with you XXXX
