Morton Morrell college is on fire

Just been on news, hope all the horses are ok, it seems to be away from stables

Its actually moreton hall thats on fire, which is on the grounds but well away from any of the new accomodation or the horses! Still a pity though! Had some good drunken times sneaking into that place

Yeh, its the Hall, so well away from the horses, its completely gone

Fire crews are still there, my best friend's uncle is one of them, and he said they'll be there most the night. You can actually smell the smoke here. So sad as it has a lot of history

This is such as shame!!! I lived there last year while on the ND Horse Management!! Had some really wicked nights up in the common room lol!! But yeah is such a shame cause is a beautiful house!!

Wow I have just seen this! I lived in the base of the Hall for a year, it was a lovely building.

I am not sure about the top bit - the bottom had a few double rooms and I think they were usually used for under 18's but I spent my third year in there with a few other people on my course - it was great fun!

I hated staying in Moreton Hall... it was to freaky!! Shame its burnt.... pretty building to look at!

I'm very sad about this fire - I spent 4 years at the college and didn't appreciate the building at the time. Now in my old age(!) I realise how stunning it was.
