After looking at some of my options, Mortonhall sounds pretty good to me and I have spoken with the yard manager and she seems lovely and there seems to be excellent hacking.
Does anyone know of this livery yard and what do you think??

yip was there before t/f manager took it over, i know one livery has just left with 2 horses, i wouldn't go back personally but thats because its so over crowded & i do not like ym.

can give you info on other yards if your looking

Do you mean Morton Mains in Fairmilehead or Meadowhead Farm (Liberton Drive)? both are linked to the Mortonhall Estate according to their website.

I would be interested to see responses/ recieve PMs on these too. My mum is local to them and I am considering a move to Edinburgh, so interested in feedback on livery yards in the area.
 
Hi Tororo,

I phoned the yard manager and she said they are both on the Mortonhall Estate and there was spaces available at both but as Asbo stated, she moved her horse and someone recently moved theirs too because it is too crowded so I dont really know where to go from here. Asbo will hopefully get back to us with different yards.
I shall let you know what I think next week as I am going to have a look at a few yards on Saturday

swanston has a waiting list, there is damhead/constance noble in that area, also if you are willing to go more juniper green/currie way there is jon pass/wester kinleith / mid kinleith.
