Moss in horse field

There seems to be quite a few products on the market that say kills moss on contact and is animal friendly. Has anyone used any with good effect? And if so what time of year is best to do it?

I just leave it, holds the ground together and limits the amount of grass the fatties get access to!

At home the chickens sorted it out pretty quickly.

Lol!! No help at all!! I need grass as haven't got fatties!! Got chickens at home but not at stables so that's no use either!!

I would just give the field a light harrow to break up the moss. I haven't used any chemicals at all on my fields in 23 years and they are doing just fine.

Just harrow it when it is dry enough. The weather has been ideal for growing moss this year.
