I've seen some really comfortable looking ones but they have a holey gel type texture underneath and I don't want them leaving a print on the leather. Any recommendations?

I can tell you what NOT to go for and that is the Heather Moffat ones. They're like riding on sandpaper, not good for the lady-bits (blushes gracefully) - total instrument of torture, if you need convincing just have a look on e-bay coz you'll always find one for sale there.

I haven't tried the Acavello ones which is the ones I presume you mean? There's the "gel-out" or the "gel-in", basically one is sticky when you sit on it, the other isn't, I'll leave it to others to explain which is which!

IME you've got a long way to go to beat a good old bog-standard sheepskin.

I like the acavallo ones.. I have gel-out which is sticky when you sit on it ;)

It is very squishy, very comfortable and doesn't mark the saddle. Had to put my stirrups up a hole though as it is rather thick. I let mine get a little bit grubby or otherwise I find myself a little TOO stuck to the saddle.

I've used a Heather Moffatt seat saver for years for all disciplines and I've never found it uncomfortable on any of my 'bits' :)

Totally agree. I had to sell on my Heather Moffat one, torture. I like the Griffin sheepskin.

No doubt in my mind, sheepskin for comfort
Suggest you go into a shop and ask them to place various seat covers on a saddle and try them all out
or borrow from friends and family and have a few hours trying them out

Acavallo gel out extra cushioned version, the normal version is not at all comfortable imo, still have a very sore bum after a day out hunting! But great for grip.

I guess it depends where your lady bits are and how you ride :) we are all different after all.

HM for me does the job. Tres comfy.
