Moth killer that is OK to use round cats?

Can anyone recommend a moth killer that can be used round cats? Bought one from internet which was billed as pet-friendly but instructions are not to use anywhere the animal might lie! Have asked at a couple of hardware stores who were very helpful but couldn't find anything suitable.

Are these clothes moths that you want to kill them? What about one of those blue light bug zappers?

In theory, one of the sprays for flea prevention on furnishings should work, as they seem to kill everything else. Can't imagine you have bees in the wardrobe, so you should be ok.

Washing and freezing all my affected clothes worked to get rid of moths.

Don't use anything with permethrin in it near cats

I use the pheromone traps, it completely solved my problems. Nothing to poison anything else.

Does freezing get rid of eggs? I have been told that by the time you have noticed damage, the moths will have laid eggs which will hatch and perpetuate the cycle. I need a spray I can use on a carpet in a room that the cat sunbathes in!

I think one can get special spray for carpets, which doesnt stain the carpet. We have a problem with carpet beetle. But I only used it on our cord stair carpet.
