I'm looking for a mother and daughter riding holiday... Ideally somewhere I can take my horse and my daughter can hire a horse. Somewhere where we can have lessons/hacks during the day (she's a beginner) and somewhere where there are other people and activities in the evening, preferably somewhere within a not so horrendous drive from the midlands. Does such a place exist does anyone have any ideas!!!

Thank you

I can't help I'm afraid but I'm looking for exactly the same thing so watching with interest. In fact, I'm wondering if you are my mum. Haha! :D

Redlands Equestrian do riding holidays at various places. The BHS or Riding Club magazines have quite a lot of riding holidays advertised in the small ads. Try Wales tourism too, as they try to co-ordinate their advertising for riding holidays.

Why does it have to be exactly "Mother & Daughter"... surely just look at equestrian holidays in general and pick out what suits you both?

Me and my daughter went to orchard farm, in Hogsthorpe and can highly rec' it. Jamie is a friendly chap who is very good with all levels of riding and has done my daughters confidence the world of good. The big bonus is the fantastic beach rides and the holiday home is very nice and homely + huge!
