Mouldy hay

I bought some hay off the field in July. It’s been stored in a large airy barn and it’s all gone mouldy. It can’t be used for horses and I don’t think it’s fit for cows or sheep either. Would you ask the seller for your money back?

Yes, I would, and if they are decent they will refund you for any substandard bales or offer replacements.

There’s a chance that they might blank you but it’s defo worth asking.

If you have bought of them before I would expect them to refund or replace without question. If it is the only time you have used them and they are not known locally they might not be so accommodating unfortunately.

Yes definitely ask. Sounds like they were baled a bit wet.
