moulting

My two are both definitely starting to moult.

Anyone found this or are my two just odd.

Note both unclipped and minimally rugged. They do get plonked under infrared lamps for their late afternoon groom, but don't have any ultraviolet lamps.

Yep my old ladie is moulting sooo well right now has been for the last month I guess she's also unclipped and rugged well as she feels cold but I can pull her hair off in chunks...

Cats and dogs are moulting too = very odd ??

Not odd at all.

The shortest day was 21st December. As the days get longer the animals will all start to moult.
Mylot are all living out, unrugged and unclipped and are all starting to moult, allbeit only a little.

My old mare is just starting to lose a little bit of her winter coat but none of the others are yet.
