My GSD is in full moult, Hoover is struggling! I'm sure she didn't moult this early last year. Is anyone else's moulting now?

Yep unfortunately it seems all the Greyhound Gang are moulting - with one black, one white, one fawn and one brindle I can ensure that the dog hairs show up on every garment! :o The horse is moulting too, he is a skewbald and only the white bits are moulting.....

The GSD never stops moulting, neither does the d*mn white horse! I think I've developed a blindness to hair, otherwise I would have gone mad by now.

Tiva has just started to blow her coat. Oh well keep brushing and bathing and hopefully I'll get her back in full coat for the autumn shows

Use your hands to get really into her coat, stimulate the sebaceous glands and remove the dead coat. As well as brushing and washing. Don't be tempted to use a Furminator on a GSD, it just rips and wrecks.

As well as regular grooming I recommend you invest in a blaster. Mine don't particularly like the noise or sensation (it is like a high powered hairdryer) but they are used to it now and it is fantastic for lifting out dead undercoat. Never make the mistake of blasting indoors though as the hair goes absolutely everywhere! Also regular swimming helps strip out the undercoat.

Thank you. OH has a motorbike dryer that might work!
