He's late, my 2 shetlands have been shedding since early July!

Mine finished moulting and is busy sprouting winter coat

. Why does it seem that summer coat lasts five minutes and the rest of the time is spent scraping mud out of winter coats.

My lots coats started turning in the 3rd week of July. The Welsh Cob is the only one who hasn't started yet.

My Welsh cob started moulting and growing the winter coat in the middle of the heatwave we just had. Fool.

Mine started at the end of July. He’s just had a low trace clip as it’s so humid yet he’s almost semi-yak!

A lot of the trees it is heat stress/lack of water making the leaves turn and drop off.

I generally refuse to bring the clippers out before October 1st for the racehorses! It's a long enough clipping season so I set myself a start date and have only had to do the odd one before it. Usually a mare.
