Entered and booked a stable, the thought of driving for three hours getting up at the crack of dawn suddenly lost it's appeal..(must be geting old

)
I plan on plenty of hot water bottles, the dog and a couple of duvets, C is always warm because she sleeps on the luton, and all the warm air rises up there making it cosy.
Seeing as we missed out on so may cancelled events it seems daft to miss one of the last we could do..
See you there guys.
ps Cheeky Girl, will you be there? Anyone fancy a meal at the pub the night before?

I haven't entered still dithering but should do it. You are more than welcome to come and stay in the cabin but I'm 30 minute drive from Brooms. Will def come for food anyway that would be good.
Don't forget your £15.40 to cross the bridge. The joys of eventing from Wales

How much!!!!! Is that one way or both? (gulp)
Thanks for the offer but will stick with the box, it was comfy if squashed last time.
We would love to see you for a natter, isn't there a cafe on site?
Do enter, the more of us the merrier..
Now if I could just persuade Lec and Spotted Cat too.....

I entered last night, its only about 45 minutes from us, we used to go there all the time for BSJA, there is a cafe and restaurant on site from what i can remember and the bridge fare is only one way.

There is a restaurant/Cafe which might be open. Otherwise I've got a menu for the local chineese that will deliver to the gate at no extra charge which i can scan for you. The bridge is only one way. They are showers as well - if they are open.

You ususally do the SJ in the main Derby arena which is really nice.

My sister Cath is going on Floyd.

I'll be there on the Sunday, but may well come over and walk the XC on the Saturday, as its fairly close for us. More than happy to meet up with you all for a natter or food

Great, it makes it so much more fun with a few H and Hder'.s.
We plan to be there early enough on Sat for C to course walk, then perhaps eat on site if possible. If not then order a takeaway.
I'd offer to cook but the two rings and grill are a bit limiting! (though in the far off courting days in my caravan I used to turn out pot roast and mashed suds etc..)

I'm at Broadway I'm afraid, as is LEC - it's one of my favourite events to end on as the courses are so friendly so I have less worry about something going horrifically wrong and haunting me all winter. Plus it's only just over an hour from me and I don't have to pay for the bridge!

I bet you'll all have a blast though!

The cafe is rotten - My OH moaned all day about how bad the food was. My OH idea of a good event is good quality food and not having to walk very far!

Right, it's a takeaway or drive to the nearest pub then!
I know the village at Broadway but it must be a long drive in the box from here...
Perhaps next year, but let's hope we don't get loads of events cancelled and have to hunt round for extra ones..

I do not think they make much effort for BE and we were late in the day. OH was very fed up by it!!
