Hi all,

I have a pair of long mountain horse riding boots. I bought them in April/June time this year and only use them when I ride which is 3/4 times per week.

The zip has broken, what would you do?

1. Shoe repair shop
2. Send them back

Has anyone else had this problem, they were like £250 in price so am a bit peeved to say the least.

Thanks.

I've owned 2 pairs of Mountain horse boots, both of them had this problem after around a year of being well looked after. Not good enough for £250, so I won't buy them anymore.

It might be worth taking them back to the place you bought them from? It's worth a try, they should definately last longer than yours have! Good luck!

Not exactly the same but the zip on my MH Bodyguard jacket broke just over a year after I bought it but I'd only worn it a few times. I had bought it over the internet, so rang MH customer services. I got no sense whatsoever.
Good luck!

Take them back to the retailer, they will send them back and MH will either repair them or send you a new pair, Daughter has done this with 2 pairs and both been replaced with new boots.

Its a shame this happens as they are great hard wearing boots

take them back to where you bought them from and ask them to either replace or repair as not fit for purpose. boots of that price should last at least a year of heavy use! if they squirm then just say you will be happy with a full refund now!

I'm in discussion with mountain horse at the moment about my rimfrost riders! Only wore them a few times and the Zip broke. They did say take up with the retailer but doubt they will be interested after that length of time.....The options I was given were.
1) standard repair £25 zip/boot.
2) premium repair £35 zip/boot.
3) they send u zip for local cobbler to fit.
This is the email of the person I've been dealing
with at mountain horse; antonia@horsemasters.co.uk

I cannot believe how rubbish they have been to be honest!

If you were to see my boots they are like new because i put them on just before i ride, nothing is worn out on them.

Im going to try my local shoe repair shop and go from their.

Thanks for your comments.
