Anyone have these? Any good? was recommended them in tack shop last night as my Dublin ones have fallen apart at the heel but they didnt have any in my size and they didnt know when they were getting anymore in
Fantastic boots, my last pair lasted 5 years. They are comfortable to walk and ride in and are very hard wearing. They have also protected my toes from my horse's size 6 hairy feet many many times.
I have protective yard boot and love them! I've had them for what must be nearly 5years and they're still going strong. The linings a bit tattered but they still come up good onthe outside. Also have withstood heavy horses when other grooms toe caps have nearly cut off thier toes. I'd go for them.
I love them. Very comfortable and supportive - I have a pretty wrecked ankle and they are one of the few types of boots that make me not want to scream in pain by the end of the day.
It took a couple of years for me to wear the first pair out and I am VERY hard on boots.
The only thing is they are quite wide and some people find them heavy but personally I find both are positive attributes.
I loved them, but oviously get the prize for being hard on boots, mine only last about 18months, but i did live in them. I have had 3 pairs so you can tell i like them.
I love mine, but they've finally given up the ghost after 5years.
Mind you, that's 5 years of no care what so ever. If I'd bothered to look after them (and not let them get sodden then stick them on the radiator to dry, many times
) they'd still be going strong. Very highly recommeneded!
