I have had two pairs over the last four years and wear them most days, so they do last well!! My feet are always warm.

However, the latest pair have not worn as well and my friend is having the same problem, they are splitting round the ankles and leaking where the sole joins. They also came up about one size larger than the last pair - obviously reversing the trend for skimping on materials!!!

All in all though I would definately recommend and will be getting another pair and giving Mountain Horse the benefit of the doubt!

Hope this may help abit!!!!!

I have had a few pairs a few years ago and loved them. I bought some leather ones and treated myself as i have never had leather, but they are not warm and am hoping OH will buy me some rimfrosts for xmas

Mine have lasted 2 years so far and look great. But its interesting what henhouse says about new pairs splitting. That happened to a freind on the yard - her new pair split after about a week. She sent them back and got a new pair which are OK. Perhaps they had a duff batch?
