My sister gets ridiculously cold at the stables during winter esp her feet and has tried lots of things which don't work like thermal socks etc. We were looking at the Rimfrost boots and they sound quite good. - Has anyone got them and what do you think?

Thanks

I have had two pairs but found that the seal didnt last very long so wasn't waterproof, last year I bought the Ariat Glacier lace boot and found them to be much better.

i am on my second pair and love them, but they are very big and flump if that makes sense lol. but the do keep you feet warm! they have laces so water goes through so providing your not walking through rivers youl be fine, they kept my feet toastie in the snow

i have the big boots not the paddock 1s but after about a couplr of months the zip at the back right at the bottom broke and i had to pay to have it fixed but there really good for keeping your feet warm thats why ive got them =]

Agree with above...only downside is if you need to leg it after something you will not do it in these

...they are bloody heavy which is what i think OP meant by flumpy, lol

I do find them heavy too n they're pretty bulky. Got a pair of the mountain horse leather chaps n after about 5 months can finally zip them up with ease over my boots as was an extremely tight fit over them to start with! On the plus side they're warm n sturdy! Plus when my horses are being tits to lead my feet feel pretty safe in them! Good grip for walking and riding in too!

they are very heavy and bulky, i tend to only wear them when very cold and snowy as they make me feel like i have 2 vry sturdy feet on the ground and like i wont fall off the muck heap ramp! mine havent failed me yet, but i do feel like i weigh an extra 1/2 stone with them on!
I cant school with them on really, only plod around, theyre just too heavy.

Thanks everyone, Sounds like they are warm but very clumpy... I guess its worth it if they stop you from freezing though x

Just one more thing to add, with my first pair I treated them like wellies

forgetting about the zips, so they fell apart a bit quickly! treat my current pair with a bit more respect!

I too found them difficult to ride in at first but did get used to them after a while.
