Hi I know this thread has been done before but does anyone have a set of plans for a wooden mounting block. Trying to get OH to make one but he wants a set of plans so he knows what to do! Thanks
 
Could you show him some catalogue pictures? Not the sort of thing you'd have plans for really. Some plans for some steps may be online? Could you draw some?x
 
I don't have plans but I do have a wooden mounting block. Its made of marine ply and strips of a harder wood, basically its 2 chunky L shape marine ply that have strips of the thick wood joining together across the top of the L (if you look sideways on its like 3 boxes making an L and the flat horizontal bits have the strips) then a few smaller stips along the tall side of the L to give integrity (plus make easy to move) and across the front parts I've got more ply screwed in.
