I just wondered if anyone had some advice on this. I was watching Archie eat last night and noticed what I can only describe as a burst ulcer/ blister on the inside of his lip about the size of a 5p. It wasn't stopping him eating/ grazing but did look a little sore, it has a sort of raised rim around it? He is only a yearling, is this normal/ anything to worry about

Thanks

My horse used to get these quite reguarly, like a 5p, quite raised and reddish. I was told they get them from eating hawthorn, which i had caught her doing a few times! is he near any hawthorn?

I haven't seen/ checked for any but I'll have a look over the weekend. He only has the one, it's not stopping him eating which is good, I'll keep an eye on it
