Moved yards today - again!

George and I moved to our new yard today, unfortunately we had to go because our old yard was being sold and when this vacancy came up I didn't want to let it go, as it is a bit cheaper and closer to home and has fab hacking.

Anyway, George loaded into the lorry without a second glance, got to his new stable and had a good roll and then tucked into the hay in the haybar with great excitement

then at lunchtime he was so stressed he fell asleep with his head over the door

Anyway here are a few pics of him in his new stable:

Hopefully he will continue to settle in, I was so worried about moving him again.

I've just heard that he is out in the field with his new pal and that they have been grazing happily together and eating from the same hay rack. I know there is always a risk of being kicked but I am so glad he is now going out with other horses.
