Moving cats

I’ve bought my cats up to my parents with me yesterday as I’m about to go on holiday for a week, followed by moving house the week after.
As expected one is totally fine, the other is a bit traumatised but ok.
The plans isn’t parents bring them with them to help me move into the new house and they go into a cattery nearby for a few days.
However I’ve realised that 3 days after I’d get them from the cattery I have to go back to London for a work thing so will be out of the house from 6am till evening time.
Should I leave them in the cattery until the following day or will 2 days in the new house be ok/better?
Not sure which is the least stressful option for them currently :-/

I dont think there is anything wrong with you being out all day. It will probably help with their confidence to explore the home when its perfectly quiet.

If they were mine I would leave them in the cattery.

I would have them in the new house to settle - a bit of peace and quiet will do them good

Depends if they were happy in the cattery .
I'd probably do as Jenko says , but then again if they are totally chilled in the cattery,there's nothing wrong with them being there either for a little longer

Ours stayed in the cattery until we were organised at the new place.

Mine stayed in the cattery whilst I packed, then came with me to the new house. I think they'd be happy exploring the new house on their own.

I'd have them in the house.

Id also have them in the house, dont see why not. It'd give them some quiet time to investigate the house. Sooner the better to get settled. Good luck!

I too would let them stay at the house to explore. Have a litter tray in every room though if they are prone to marking at all.
