Moving - sorry its a bit long

well I have finally decided to move yards as I am going to be moving house soon and am really peed off with yard gossip. Basically story is I have had a few run ins with YO's wife who can be extremely nasty and decided to go a couple of weeks ago as my instructor has offered me a place at her yard. Didn't say anything as my horse is currently on box rest and had to wait until the last visit from the vet (which was on Friday) to see if it was possible for her to be moved so I had a word on the quiet with the vet (had to watch what I said as vet is best friends with YO's wife). So anyway got the all clear to move and was going to approach YO and tell them on saturday. Anyway in the meantime one of the other girls on my current yard has found out and told everyone when and where I was going before I even had a chance to tel YO!!!!!!!! Haven't worked out yet how she has found out but I am so angry, YO is p****d off because i didn't tell him but the thing that really bothers me is that i especially didn't want YO's wife knowing where I was going!!!!

unfortunatly that is what happens on yards..

the politest thing to have done was to talk to the yo weeks ago when you made the decision...think of it fro the yos point of view and having been on the end of something similar i know what its like..

however what is done is done...you are leaving and sweep it all under the carpet.....leave on a good note(if you can) and look forward to your new yard

Unfortunately at the time my horse was on complete box rest and couldn't be moved and we didn't know for definate that she could be moved until the vet came out on Friday. I want to leave on a good note but I don't think YO's wife will let that happen as any time she sees me on my own she deliberately tries to start an argument

Unfortunatley life doesnt always work out the way we want it to you cant please evryone . Get yoursef ready to move and ignore it all .
