Moving to a field what do we need - brain has gone numb!

There will be two horses in the field, there is natural shelter at one end but eventually we hope to build a little shelter at the other end of the field. We also need to sort out some sort of shed for storing tack, rugs, grooming kits, first aid kits etc on site as I cannot drive at the moment and on the days when mum is working and I do the horses on my own I'll have to cycle.

Ok so the equipment list so far goes:

* Electric Tape
* Electric Fence Posts
* Battery
* Earthing Stake
* Warning Signs for electric fencing
* The little black screw in things (can't remember what they're called) for attaching electric tape to wooden fence posts already in place
* Big Sturdy Water Bucket x 2
* Jerry Cans for carting water from the water source outside the field
* Wheel Barrow x 2
* Poo Picking Equipment x 2
* Salt Lick
* Pallets for Haylage to sit on
* Haylage
* Tarpaulin for covering haylage from the elements
* Chain & Padlock for the field gate
Have I missed anything out? My brain hurts and it's completely stopped working now

Assuming you don't have electricity so head torch, spare torch, many sources of light!

the energiser bit of the electric fence, if thats what its called..... the thing thats connected between the battery and the fence.

Get an H2Go bag for carting the water through the field in wheelbarrow, they are great

Oh and the screw in things are called insulators and come in many forms

Sled. Don't go " " if you do have snow, or it freezes it is a lot easier to pull water cans/hay than to carry.

I would post a note on the gate with emergency contact details in case anyone passing notices one of the horses in distress/escaped.

Don't forget to have security measures in place as it is likely thieves could target your stuff.

Hay/haylage ring - old tattie box - less waste, easy to move.

Wooden plank (s) for wheel barrow. Place beside gate over mud. Makes wheelbarrowing easier when going through mud.

Can of WD 30 good for de-icing frozen padlocks.

Rubber mallet thingy - whole heep of uses. Break ice, pop poles back in etc

Ooh yeah have loads of torches for light, just forgot to write it down ha ha! My sister suggested those little garden solar lights to mark the way which is a nice idea but a little redundant with the torches?

Yeah we're getting my sisters electric fencing kit with all the bits

My OH is going to build us a sturdy hay manger that me and mum can move around

Two chains and padlocks for the gate, put one the hinge side aswell. My fab farrier was early recently and done before I got there, he lifted the gate off hinge side and drove in (replacing after of course) which was great but worried me a little how easy it was to get a van into my locked yard!
