My horse has been living out since I've owned her, but we're about to move to a yard where she'll have her very own stable! It's also a much more organised place than the sharing-with-friends set up I've currently got! I'm a first time owner and have borrowed stable "stuff" as and when I've needed it, but now I need to get myself sorted. My list so far...
Haynets
Shallow feed bucket
Water bucket
Muck bucket
Broom
Little rake thing and bucket for mucking out (no idea what this is called!!!)
Bedding - the stable has rubber matting, so should 1 bale of shavings be enough to start with?
Salt lick
Big storage box
I also need to look into feed - she currently doesn't get any hard feed, but her workload will be increasing. Got haylage sorted for now, and can share a wheelbarrow... Have I missed anything obvious?
