As title, am moving Beanie to a yard that I have been on previouslyso not too worried about yard itself. However silly horse has developed an aversion to loading so am worried will not be able to get him on the box so some vibes that he loads okay would be really appreciated.
My instructor is coming to move him for me and hers is the only box he has walked straight onto without a fight so am hoping that will help plus OH will be there to provide a calming influence and muscle if needed.

Thanks for all the vibes think they worked cos we did eventually load him, but its been one heck of day.
Started so well, left work at 11.30 got to yard, farrier did his feet and he was an angel so looking good.
Loaded up car, went to move car away from stable - no keys, couldn't find them anywhere. Emptied car again, emptied out all storage boxes, even emptied feed bag to make sure hadn't dropped in there still no keys. Whilst looking for keys OH arrives to help load, and then get phone call from instructor, her wagon wont start, flat battery,so she is going to be let.
In the meantime YO finds car keys in my fleece jacket pocket which I hadn't worn so can't fathom how I came to put them in there.
Re load car, managed to drop bottle of wine I'd got for instructor so cue me on hands and knees on yard makeing sure picked up all bits of glass.
OH then has to go off to work so am left on own to wait for instructor to arrive with her box.
Box arrives, horse refuses to load, wont go into great detail apart from he has manged to break the wing mirror on old YO pickup truck on one of his escape bids, he is fine not a mark on him.
Eventually ended up with wagon backed into entrance to school which is on a slope and soft ground then the heavens opened and we had an almighty thunder, lightning and rain storm, in the end had to put him back into stable until weather was fit.
Got him back out,but still not playing. YO suggested we try blindfolding him, so draped a towel over his head and after 3 nearlys, we got him on box and off we went. We were all soaked to skin and covered in mud so looked a right sight arriving at new yard.
Washed B off in posh shower area then discoved wasn't moving into stable I thought I was, and had put bed in. New stable is much nicer though so that not a problem. Put bed down, put horse in stable with hay and a feed and you think he''d been there all his life, had a chat with his next door neighbour.
Thanks for reading, am just about ready to collaspe but at least he is settle and am looking forward to being able to ride on farm ride and fields at new yard.
