Is there something that is making you think that?
Probably just need a bit of time to settle in

yes, i did (and still do a bit). I moved yards 2 months ago and I still feel a bit lonely and my horse still has days where she is a bit unsettled still. I wish in a way I hadnt moved as this new yard has thrown up a few probs, but its much much closer to where I live.
It does get better tho

think im just panicking been at old yard over 3 years also the field he is going in has rather a lot of grass and he looks at grass and piles weight on and at moment he will be on his own so grass wont get eaten down ahhh

I've just moved (last Tuesday) and my horse is having a bit of a hard time settling in, it is a much larger yard and so is a big adjustment for him. It was really worrying me and I was having second thoughts but he's getting better now and I'm pleased that I moved, I'd wanted to move for a long time anyway and the new yard is so much better for us than the old one.
It will get better, I'm sure you're already doing this but spend as much time with your horse as you can and keep his routine the same so he has some stability. If you can have a quiet horse in the field with him so that he isn't lonely, is there a specific reason for him being in a field on his own or is this just temporary while he settles?
