Well B is feeling very much better today, and is storming about his stable and making it very well known that he wants to go back outside (think small child behaviour pinging off of the walls)! We didn't see the vet again today as she was called out to emergency after emergency and didn't make it to us, but she's coming back in the morning to check how he is doing. Judging by his behaviour and how aptly he is using said leg despite still being in a robert jones, I am hopeful we wont need to x-ray it, but we will see what happens.

The horse deserves an ASBO

, he's been pulling things out all across his stable (all brushes and rugs now removed

), headcollars hang outside his door - those keep ending up on the floor, and has just generally been causing trouble - no wonder I let him live out normally

. Not to mention however he did this to himself in the first place

- he needs to live in a padded cell! Anyway, thank you for all the HHO vibes, hopefully they did the world of good!

ROFL. No seriously! I feel your "pain" I have one of those too. COMPLETELY throws all the teddies out of the pram followed by the pram!!! LOL

His last serious injury was caused by being in the field (living out) in the first place!!! Go figure. Then he created Mary hell cos he had to be confined! (LARGE open puncture wound on face caused by rolling on a tree branch! *roll eyes* )

Glad he is feeling a bit better though and he won't have to spend too much time in.

yeeees...butter wouldn't melt....you wouldn't believe the faces he pulls in the stable sometimes!!! He went next door whilst I mucked him out (as he's vile and churns it all up and I couldn't leave the wet for another night of churning), rolled in there and managed to kick over the water bucket

Seriously though, I think he is the most accident prone creature ever. He will have to start wearing all round leg protection I think....we tried the brushing boots but after a while they started rubbing him (hardly surprising, its HIM!) despite being taken off every night and having an air and a groom, he trashed all the overreach boots.....I wonder if I can turn him out in travel boots
