As some may know. After several years break due to a fall in late Nov I was urged to sit on Mr cob our 5yr old trad cob for the first time. At beginning of Jan I kick started 2013 and went to our first comp and mine for 10years.
We had no pictures so I wanted to share our 3rd go yesterday with you.
Upon arriving cue my face when seeing the warm up :o :o
A ring filled with expensive looking horses and bd riders. The marks were as so marking v harshly to everyone. Being the only cob type and blatant novices we bombed our way around and enjoyed ourselves.
We scored a respectable 58% with the winner getting 63% and coming 4th. ;)

Please excuse gormless face!!

Hi there I was there too on a youngster. hope you dont mind me saying but the arena was filled with a lot of green horses and novices and a variety (not just ur expensive wb types) I was on a very green idxtb and I have to agree the marks were very harsh considering some riders (including u) did lovely tests. If you were wondering who i was heres a link to our pic http://www.jumpforit.co.uk/130223/rp6x6699.htm
You looked really smart!

I have to add a lot of riders ignored the rules of the school and we had a fair few incidents in there I had to hold my tongue a lot of the time but failed on a couple of occassions.

Dont worry if you feel you are "only on a cob" you have a nice horse that will do really well in competition and I had a fell pony for 7 yeard that would clean up with a arena full of warmbloods ;)

Anywways big well done :) and next time ur about and you spot us come say hello! x

Thank you everyone :) :)
Oh bendy horse you looked lovely!! What is your name :)

I hope I wasnt one causing you problem in the warm up. I found it very stressful in there, more than riding the test!! So much going on and was struggling to keep on top of everything .

Thank you very much for your complements he is a lovely horse, and is coming on fab. We bought him from the sales terrified and it's taken 2 years to get him to trust, he may look a plod. But he js a very sensitive little soul, Though being v lazy on sat!

Anyway well done your horse looks lovely and I love a nice id x tb. :)x
