So since our last post we went for a jumping lesson with my usual instructor. I told her we had only jumped about 70cms at home and can only fit about 3 jumps in our school. So she set up a course starting with poles telling me it isn't enough for him to just go over poles/jumps, he needs to use himself and be adjustable. So lots of transitions between fences to keep him listening and not just running on going flat. Very pleased, ended up jumping around 1m at the end of the lesson. Which I was not expecting!

Is grim up north!
Then we went to Ledston EC which was really lovely for his first ever sj comp. He was a star. Very baby trot round the clear round then a rider error 4 faults in the 65cm. He stood around waiting like a pro and didn't get stressed out or silly. Very pleased again!

Next stop, local show for some show ring practice!
