My horse is going in for an MRI of his left fore on Monday. He was referred last Monday after my vet came and took x rays etc. He is shod all round but my vet told me to remove his front shoes in preparation for the scan. Just looked at the admittance notes from Liphook and they said if horse is shod leave shoes on? Im now worried as its too late to get the shoes put back on. I know he needs them off for the scan but looks like they want to see them with shoes on first. Anybody know if it will be detrimental to the results etc. If I present an unshod horse that is usually shod??? Thanks
