Mrs Spaniel had two Flyball competitions over the bank holiday narrowly missing out on a frilly on the Sunday at the open (coming 4th) and helping her team come bottom of her multibreed division on Monday. She ran extremely well though and I was so pleased with her.
As always flyball days are full of excitement.
She now awaits all the paperwork to get sorted so she can get her Flyball dog certificate that she actually gained at Imber Court back in July. We are now the proud owner of 365 shiny points (BH scores yet to be added to the site) Not too shabby for a dog that froze in fright in her first competition back in March and only been out limited times since then.
Super proud of her. So we decided to make the most of my week off of work and take her for a day out at the seaside.
She was a bit unsure about the water at first, having only been to the beach once before and had been attacked by an errant wave that dared to splash her face when she was reaching for her tennis ball, but the sea was pretty calm so she soon plucked up courage for a paddle.
in fact...
She decided she loved the sea so much she didnt want to come home.
"Nope."
"I wanna stay hereeee!"
"bye then. I'm off to be a seadog."
She has had several other walks in the woods as well over the week, these are two of my favourites. I take FAR too many photos of her!
I LOVE this!! Flying Pupdog!
and her second favourite hobby after flyball - carrying ridiculously oversized sticks.
