MrsD123 Please Stop it!

OP, the easiest way to stop someone PMing you is to put them on 'ignore'. They are then unable to PM you and you cannot see the content of any of their posts. To highlight it on a public forum can only be for the purpose of ridicule.
 
Mental health issues aside, I couldn't help but pick up on MrsD123's (admittedly rather odd) comments about being in "the Highlands" to someone in a pm (sorry on phone and can't easily check back through thread to see who). Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she say her yard is in Ayrshire? Ayrshire is in the South West of Scotland, nowhere near the Highlands. Surely someone who was from there would know that? Smells like a troll to me.

Hey im not back peddling anywhere... People can still defend themselves when they have issues... But I do wish I was 'Pedalling' on a pedalow someone, preferably somewhere warm :D

Just because people maight have issues going on this doesn't mean they cannot defend themselves and stand on their own two feet and clearly this person can.

You're probably right there ya know, deffo something trollish about this... but hang on a moment, lets not draw to a conclusion just yet as the birch has just come out for my flogging :D

I think most people have issues, probably me included... but you're right, it doesn't mean you cannot defend yourself as some people may think, I think its safe to that this person can clearly does, but having issues doesn't automatically put people in the 'Mental Health' category as some people label it...

Why? She hasn't contravened T&C's. And whatever people think about her rather eccentric posting style, it in no way warrants a banning.

I'd say it's time for us to all move away from the keyboard and let the poor woman alone.

Pony is recovering, has moved yards, and presumably MrsD is persuing whichever course of action she feels best with regards compensation from previous yard (or not).
 
I have also recieved random, incoherent PM's from MrsD123.

But i dont think it warrants a post about it. You'll encourage Skewby to rear her ugly head again.
Just ignore MrsD123 or send her a reply saying that she has you confused with someone else.

I have today recieved a perfectly pleasant PM from MrsD123 about the joys of owning a NewForest pony from her. Lovely to read and I have no problems at all.

You guys can be very wicked and I know from experience when my mare was suspected as preggers how everyone told me I was stupid and imagining it only for it to be confirmed a week later.

There are also those who don't think anyone else should have horses bar them for their great wealth or knowledge and experience and told me I'd end up with a dead foal and to send my mare away to stud for the more experienced to look after her. Some even PM'd me saying for vast amount of money they would foal her for me....! You know what I did my research read large vetinary hard baked books galore , went on courses, spoke to my vet and those who were kind enough to share their experiences and we have so far faired okay.

There are a lot of gobby know it all's on this forum hence I don't bother as much as I used to. I only pop back now and again to catch up with the few whom are genuine and have been supportive.

Such a shame but I can only liking it to be back in the playground :(
 
I get the feeling 'Fellewell' 'Mrs D' and the new one bitching about being a farriers wife and not liking his clients are all the same demented person.

Lovely to hear your mare & foal are doing well, I didn't see the post about her...

Maybe MrsD has a nicer side that you have been privvy to... but it doesn't explain why some of us have been getting venomous PM's when we havn't had anything to do with her... One of the PM's has been cleared up by another user who contacted me to explain that I wasn't the intended target.. but thats only one out of several that I have had...
 
One about bareback riding and seemed perfectly fine to me.

I have a life and only hop and PC to drink tea, eat toast then off outside to do horses, garden, walk dogs, collect kids, etc etc :D

My motto " be kind, be happy, treat others as you would like to be treated and don't judge" she may be lonely, sad, who knows how life has treated people and how that has shaped them. People come on a forum to share and to learn - we are all different and that is what makes life so interesting :)

Most of all be kind this world is a harsh and scary place we don't appreciate things enough and that includes eachother :(
 
If someone posted me a really nasty PM I'd tell admin and let them deal with it. As you said it wasn't intended for you and yes I agree MrsD123 should be polite as should everyone else.

I am not sure publicly ridiculing someone is quite the way to go about things and casting aspersions as to their mental health and alcohol consumption isn't kind either :( Again would you like it to happen to you?
 
I just thought she was someone who was very single minded (although perhaps a bit misguided) about the strangles issue she was having at her yard. One of the comments she made by pm, however, states that she was aware that she was posting provocatively in order to cause people to "kick off". Isn't that what a troll does?

I am neither "wicked", "gobby" nor a "hyena". All I've done is question a few things. I have heartfelt sympathy for the poster concerned if she is indeed ill. The syntax of the sentence where she mentions the illness in question makes it hard to tell whether she was joking, however.

Maybe people shouldn't have posted the pms that they've received, but it's done now.

I've followed the threads concerned closely, but I didn't post as felt I had nothing useful to add. I was compelled to comment on this thread, though, as it seems things don't really add up?

As previously mentioned only one of the PM's was cleared up... You may well have your own moto's and goody for you but my motto is this, if you're going to send nasty PM's to me when I don't know you from adam then I will 'out' you. It was MrsD who mentioned the alcohol if you would care to read the PM properly which was posted...


Im sorry im not a good two shoes as I am sure someone people in this world would love me to be but I also will not stand for some coward sending venomous PM's to me!

You're right Ed, things don't add up and stating that she was posting provocatively in order to cause people to "kick off" say's it all... this is someone in my opinion (and I really dont care if folk agree or not as its MY opinion) who loves a good kick off with 'who ever' over 'whatever' and is out to cause trouble for no good reason, fine if she wants to send sly PM's and hide behind it, well jolly good for her but why should I keep my mouth shut whilst so many people appear to be pandering towards her, I will and have outted this issue because I feel that I was justified in doing so and for the folk who don't agree thats fine, you guys just keep pandering to her needs...

Sorry Ed that rant wasn't aimed at you, it just sort of flowed on a bit :D
 
No one is perfect darling and I am not a goody two shoes ( is the name calling necessary) - I just care about people and hate uneccesary conflict.

But hey I am outta here - can't stand all this rubbish and not what the forum is intended for I am sure :(
