Thank you all. She does like being out and about. The booster seat is huge and has have to a cushion behind it due to the shape of the car seat, and click in two straps as I was wittering about the little strap that comes with the seat giving her just enough length to smash into the dashboard in the event of an accident. Then I started wondering about the airbag..., only I couldn't see how to turn it off. Who'd have thought such a little creature would require so much thinking about! In winter she won't have the booster seat as she can't get the heat from the car's heated seat and she likes that
I've never met such a wimpy dog . Though I guess she's been brought up in a fairly 'indoorsy' way. We've spent a fortune on coats for her and I'm hoping she'll toughen up a bit before winter sets in! She's building a bit of hind muscle from bouncing through the long grass - I must try and get a video as it's very funny
She's currently curled up on my bed with me. It's her favourite spot and if she can't be found during the day then there's a good chance she's on the bed. The GSD was initially confused as the bed is her spot... We've just about got their places sorted. The wee dog is tucked into by side and the GSD is draped over my legs. Well at least the dogs are comfy
TPO and Midlifecrises - well Hellooooo there! When I know where I am I'll come a calling.
Don't know what car you have, judging by what I saw on google, it seems as if modern car models usually have a button somewhere on the passenger seat's side of the dash board, where you can turn off/on the passenger seat's airbag, but note, you can only turn it off/on when the ignition is switched off.
In older car models, there seems to be two more common options, either you need to have the passenger door wide open, and look at the side of the dash board for a place to insert the ignition key, to turn off/on the passenger seat's airbag.
Or you need to open the glove compartment, and look there for a place to turn off/on the passenger seat's airbag.
Ah ha! Thank you. Checking the handbook has been on my to do list.
There's a button/ light on the dashboard but it doesn't move, so maybe it's really just a light and there's something on the passenger side to go poke.
