I don't have experience but did read about it, it sounds like it's usually treatable with antibiotics chosen specifically for the bacteria involved? Has the vet sent off for a culture to the lab? x

heya, I'm guessing you feel in an awful bind if your dog has recently been diagnosed with this.
But MRSP is simply 'methicillin' resistant staphylococcus - so if it hasn't been already, please get it cultured by a lab, no one can give you further advice than this as correct route of treatment depends on the individual strain involved. With properly administered appropriate antibiotics and due biosecurity considerations there is no reason full recovery cannot occur in a month or less. Good luck xx
