Hello.

I am a Masters Equine Science student and am currently carrying out data collection for my dissertation and am wondering if you can help!?

I am looking at the "Owners'/ Carers' perception of Equine Manual Therapies within the UK". If you have a few moments please click on the link below and fill out the survey - it should not take too long! By taking part you have an option to enter into a draw to WIN a £30 Amazon Voucher.

Hi Bonkers2 - Yes unfortunately you guys get bombarded due to the season of dissertations! I am honestly truly grateful to everyone that answers.... gives me a stronger set of results and gets me a little closer to the 12,000 words!
Yes of course I am happy to give feedback once all the data is analysed - I will post it up on this thread! (however be patience with me as my dissertation due in date is the 29.06.15 - so will get it up here asap/ around that date). Again, thanks for answering!

Dunnit!

However, on q.22 I would have liked to have been able to tick a few more options......... as there are a number of reasons why my horses have a chiropractor and not just one!

Also....... I wasn't sure that everyone would have understood the term you used re. "manual" treatment/manipulation - but perhaps this was deliberate??

Annie B - I will post results on this thread asap, however it may be around May/June (June is more likely - but I can always hope :) ...) as my dissertation is due at the end of June.

I have just looked at the number of individuals that have answered the questionnaire and I am truly grateful to all of you!

Just a quick message to say a GIGANTIC THANK YOU to all that have participated already – I am thrilled to of had such a positive and large response and I am pleased to say I have received just over 500 responses!! I honestly cannot thank you enough!

This survey was better than many, but I do wish we saw the odd plea from students asking for volunteers to test their survey before they actually launch it properly; it's exasperating to fill something in that could easily have been so much better with a few comments!

I completely understand your point in relation to piloting the survey with you guys first! Unfortunately, I piloted the survey with a small number of individuals in a controlled environment where the questionnaire would not reach the public domain in order to make any amendments prior to having the final questionnaire approved and signed off by my dissertation supervisor and gaining ethical approval.

Having said that, I still value your or anyone's feedback or further comments on the questionnaire and topic as I will take it in to account when analysing the data and when writing my discussion - so please feel free to comment!!
