So who has upped rugs again? I have changed my ultra lightweight duvet (little more than a sheet) to a proper stable rug again (its an old mediumweight, so not heavy) - am I alone? In my defense I do have a huge open pen though

Tia is in a LW stable.. her stable is very warm though and not very exposed and we're down south so may be slightly warmer

Boys are in 220g rugs although snoops is 300g but is a little older and had a few washes so around the same thickness as winstons.
Bert has his shimmy summer rain coat with his little 150g stable rug underneath (he isnt clipped and still has loads of fur).
They seem quite happy lol
Can see me clipping winston and snoopy in the next month tho if this hot weather continues....

Mine has a hood, fleece and Fal 40g turnout with neck on - but then I'm trying to keep her clean for vet tomorrow! But yes, if she were in "normal" rugs she would have gone from 100g to 200g, not a huge difference but keeps her warm enough. I'm chilly but then I always am!

Mine has just a fly sheet during the day and at night just a thin cotton sheet......He's in an american barn

Cropi has a rug on tonight, the first one for over a week. Its used to be a medium but its quite old now and inbetween a medium and light weight. We are forcast for 2c tonight and possible frost, no way I was letting her get a chill

I have been ruggin the yard up at 10.20pm as it's been so warm but tonight they were done at 6 and some have moved back into stable rugs, Moon included

Since mine is in the stable tonight he is going to have a light rug on to keep him warm . Others will stay unrugged in the field.

Mine have a flyrug, with fleece layered under a LW over the top except Oz who has a LW after being naked, it's 2-5c here tonight.

Mine had their light turnouts on at the mo. They're only turned out as we've recently moved and haven't got any stables for them until 10 days time - can't wait! I'm sure the horses can't either! But tonight - they're naked :S Hope they'll be alright

Its going to be 2c here tonight whereas its been between 10-12 for the last week or so. It really is quite cold here tonight, I'm contlempating putting the heating on again.

Its to be 1 degrees here tonight but then missy has been rugged up anyways , shes had her stable rug and all over head and neck hood on . shes at the back of the building , so closed over door tonight and she will be nice and cosy with plenty of bedding as she was moved into her own big stable tonight with loads of hay .
