I love my Tyne Muck Boots and wore them pretty much every day last winter, it was lovely not having to change out of warm boots to ride etc! However in less than a year, the have split in 3 places around the bottom of the foot join and I now get wet feet

They have also come away where the neoprene joins the rubber bit.
I was going to get another pair (and possibly write to the Muck Boot Co....) however is there anything else out there that is as warm and comfy and I can ride in?
Our field gets waterlogged and we are on clay so anything with a full length zip is out and I also get very cold feet in the winter! These are the only things I have found that keep me warm but I don't really want to have to replace them every 10 months or so...

Any ideas? I will probably end up getting another pair but just in case....

I would definitely speak to them - I've got the Tynes and apart from one bit on inside worn where neoprene meets rubber they are as good as new - worn every day all winter and they are 3yo

i got mine at the end of last summer and they split over winter!!! i personally would not buy another pair but havnt bothered to write to them (i know i should have) my friend recommended a pair of similar ones by just togs and they are cheaper and she says they are fab but i ended up buying a pair of joules goose muck boots with a neoprene sock and think they are fab. only problem i have is my half chaps wont fit over them...

I did a post a few days ago about my Mountain Horse boots that had split, Robinsons have kindly reinbursed me

Ive got the Just Togs Short Mud Ruckers and they have split - keep meaning to write a complaint to them but dont know where it will get me. I love my Woof Wear Touch Close boots.

Do you mean the Woof Wear ones? If so im sure you can as they have a spur rest etc on them. I personally wouldnt ride in the Just Togs ones but after splitting I wouldnt buy another pair of them either.

Yes th Woof Wear ones. I loved my MH ones but two pairs split on me

My feet get sooo cold in the winter, it was mainly the warmth I was after!! I will take a closer look at the pics and see if I can see a spur rest. If not some one said about DerbyHouse ones, have had a look at those and you can ride in those! Thanks

Thanks all for the replies. Interesting that I'm not the only one who has had splitting problems! Does anyone know if the Woof Wear ones are warm? They look like long muckers to me and my feet used to freeze in those...!
No where round here seems to have Muck Boots in stock so will order some this weekend if can't find an alternative. I miss them now it's cold

I phoned WW and asked them (very cheefull girl answered!), they can't advertise them as riding boots as they don't have the steel shank in the foot but they can be ridden in and have calf protection/spur rest etc

Last few questions, how do they come up size wise? I have my Muck Boots and short Ariats are both a 4 so guessing I will prob be a 4 in those as well?
Also, do you know anywhere that sells them online that's fairly cheap?!

Thanks!

Ive got the full length version of these and they REALLY make your feet sweat - to the point of having wringing wet socks. The lining then sits there all Wet and cold ready for the next time you wear them.

NOT PLEASANT!
